Made of milk, but lactose free
Creamy yogurts developed specifically for those who cannot or do not want to eat yogurts with lactose. Lactose free yogurts are ideal for breakfast or quick snack anytime during the day. Add them to smoothies, spreads, or salads. They taste the same as our regular yogurts. The only difference is the absence of lactose, which makes these yogurts easy to digest for people with lactose intolerance. Special enzyme is added to the yogurt during production to break lactose to harmless glucose and galactose. Glucose is the essential source of energy for the brain and muscles, while galactose is very easy to digest even if you are lactose intolerant.

Lactose intolerance is caused by partial or total inability of the body to produce the lactase enzyme, which breaks down lactose (milk sugar). Some degree of lactose intolerance is characteristic for approximately 15 – 20 % of the Czech population.
